the Survey System software, trademarked by Creative
Research Systems. The software contains three important
modules: computer assisted telephone surveys, Internet
surveys, and voice capture collection and analysis.
The software supports both data collection and analysis.
CATI
(Computer-Assisted Telephone Interviewing)
Using the Survey System software, interviewers conduct
customized, interactive telephone interviews with unprecedented
speed, accuracy and efficiency. CATI specifically benefits
customers by providing more accurate and in-depth information
while reducing the turnaround time to complete a survey.
Craciun Research Group, Inc. has 20 CATI workstations
available for survey work.
DIGITAL
VOICE CAPTURE
One significant feature of The Survey System is the
Voice Capture Module, which records and plays back verbatim
responses. This allows analysts more precision when
interpreting respondent's answers to open-ended questions.
The qualitative analysis implemented in this design
exceeds the paper and pen results of the past, where
we also anticipated interviewer error. The CRG solution
includes Ph.D.-level analysis of all open-ended responses.

Internet surveys are an excellent tool for providing

product and service market testing, database management

TRAINED
INTERVIEWERS
Because many people refuse to participate in completely
automated interview systems, Craciun Research Group
employs professional interviewers.
Not only do they add a human touch, but also trained
interviewers interact conversationally, yielding more
in-depth information that may be missed by completely
automated systems or less-skilled interviewers. CRG
Interviewers are trained in the skills needed to keep
non-response to a minimum. Interviewers are familiar
with computerized interviewing procedures and work efficiently
with automatic call back procedures. Analysts review
algorithm patterns and track response rates.
